Modify Styles ...

This feature allows you to modify the look for Web Reports. Changing colors for styles is straight forward, however, if you want to change other properties than a good understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is recommended.

All styles are added to each Web Reports page created from within Baseball Statbook.

You can add or remove Styles and/or properties via the "+", "-" buttons. You can modify property values by double-clicking on the appropriate cell. If the property is a color type than a color picker dialog will be presented by default. (To edit manually, the deselect the "Use Color Picker" checkbox)

Some of the styles are self-explanatory whereas others require some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. For example, "body" is the style used for the text outside of the tables. "td" styles refer to the individual cell styles. "Link" and "a:" styles refer to the hypertext links and its properties.

Removing any of the default styles may produce some unexpected results when creating Web Reports.

One useful style to modify, for example, is the ".tablewidth" style. The default is 760px (px stands for pixels). If you change this value to "100%" then all reports will fill the entire width of your browsers page.
